BluGlacier at the 2020 South Beach Wine & Food Festival
At the 2020 South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF), BluGlacier was proud to be a Bronze Sponsor. We supplied our superior fish to a handful of events – including Wine Spectator’s Best of the Best, Barilla’s Italian Bites on the Beach, and Guy Fieri’s Coca-Cola Beachside BBQ – where some of the country’s best chefs created their own unique recipes using our award-winning product.
One of the largest events of the weekend was Wine Spectator’s Best of the Best sponsored by Capital One®. Hosted at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, 60 of the nation’s top chefs showcased their most gourmet samplings to pair with over 100 wines rated 90 points or higher on Wine Spectator‘s scale. A handful of critically acclaimed chefs prepared all-star dishes using BluGlacier Salmon, including Vijayudu Veena of Jaya at the Setai, Timon Balloo of Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill, and Clay Conley and Zach Bell of Buccan and Chateau Miami.
BluGlacier was also a fixture at Barilla’s Italian Bites on the Beach, hosted by celebrity chefs Giada De Laurentiis and Dario Cecchini. More than 30 of the country’s greatest chefs served up dishes originating from various regions of Italy. Some of the dishes present at this grand Italian feast were prepared with BluGlacier Salmon, including a delicious salmon treat by chef Rocco Carulli of R House.
Other events where BluGlacier made waves include the Coca-Cola Beachside BBQ hosted by Guy Fieri, where the festival hand-picked some of America’s most fearless pitmasters to offer their most mouth-watering creations; as well as the Southern Kitchen Brunch hosted by Trisha Yearwood, part of The NYT Cooking Series; and Taste Jamaica, presented by the Jamaica Tourist Board and Tourism Enhancement Fund and hosted by JJ Johnson and Andre Fowles.
